Preparing for Clubs Playing in Halls.

Clubs should bear in mind that their hall owner may require a Risk Assessment to be prepared for the Club and be submitted so they can demonstrate that they can safely use the hall for Badminton. Sample Risk Assessments for Clubs will be available if required.

Please note that Sportscotland have some General Examples available on their web site at the following link:- https://sportscotland.org.uk/covid-19/getting-coaches-ready-for-sport/. Also Badminton Scotland have prepared a sample Risk Assessment which can be downloaded here.

Clubs will also have to appoint someone to act as a “Covid Officer”, who will carry out Risk Assessments and organise/maintain Attendance Records for the Club. Good hygiene practice will also be required. Click on “Covid Officer” to see their Role.

Please keep safe.
