Today, 1st October, is the start of the 2022/23 season and matches will be starting. Make sure that your club has registered all the players required for the matches.
A questionnaire has been sent out to all club secretaries, current and recent Association club members to find out the feeling on a proposed pilot match structure. Please ensure that your club replies by 7th October 2022.
Hi all, the AGM was held last night (1st Sept) but, only 3 clubs out of 7 attended. There was good discussion and all the positions held last season are continuing, with the only resignation being that of Iain Bennett on the Tournament Committee. The positions of Minute Secretary and Social Media Convener were not filled and we are looking for volunteers.
There was a long discussion on the pilot proposal and it was decided to survey the clubs to get their opinions on a number of matters, one being, to hold a pilot event on Sunday 10th December 2022 and, if over-subscribed possibly also Sunday 3rd December 2022.
Initially existing affiliated clubs and recently affiliated clubs will be consulted on the proposal.
Full details and questionnaires for the clubs will be prepared and sent out in the next two weeks.
All fixtures are now on League Republic – season 2022/23.
The Jubilee Cup Final was played tonight between Cadder and County B C at the Sir Craig Reedie Centre. It was won by Cadder 5 – 4, but County B C had to concede 3 matches since Craig Robertson, playing second couple for County B C, had to retire in his first match due to an injury to his calf. He went to A&E but not yet heard the outcome.
Well done Cadder.
Just had a call to say that due to a Covid-19 issue Springfield Cambridge cannot get a team to play the Final on Friday 18th March 2022. The Final has therefore been CANCELLED.
